Have you heard of beauty essences? Do you know what they are? If not, you've probably got lots of ideas about what they could be! Despite the fact that beauty essences are not very well known (yet!), their benefits have been proven – and the skin loves them!
For many Korean women, a beauty essence is a key step in their skincare routine. It looks and feels much like a facial toner (which, of course, everyone has heard of!), but while its texture may be similar, its properties are quite different. A toner is usually designed to revive and tone your skin, whereas an essence cares for your skin and makes it more receptive to the products applied afterwards.
Although an essence is not as rich in active ingredients as a serum, it can be used instead of one – especially if your skin is still young and you don't feel ready to use a serum yet, but want to find an effective, protective, antioxidant skincare product.

How to use
 
HOW
Dispense a small amount into the palm of your hands, then apply by lightly pressing your palms over your entire face. The warmth of your palms will help it to absorb into your skin.
WHEN
We recommend using L'Essence Botanique in the morning to give your skin a boost and purify it before you begin a long day. You can also use it in the evening, after cleansing, to enjoy a relaxing, soothing skincare moment. Follow with your usual skincare routine.
